The unveiling of the book by Ruskhana’s friends – Shweta Bachchan and Rahul Khanna was a tribute to the etiquette expert who is the doyen of the grooming industry having trained many a beauty pageant winner as well as present day corporate honchos.
The evening saw present guests such as Kaajal Anand, Avanti and Yash Birla, Queenie Singh and Rishi Sethia, Ramona Narang, Rhea Pillai, Maheka Mirpuri, Sangeeta and Harry Singh, Shraddha Shashidhar, Prerna Goel, Laila and Ricky Lamba, Tanya Dubash, Smriti Ruia, Madhoo Shah, Gauri Pahoomal, Bina Aziz, Harsha and Mehernosh Heeramaneck, Lata Patel, Nandini Singh, Niketan Madhok, Nisha Jamwal, Nitasha Nanda, Rima Jain, Saudamini Mattu, Vikram Phadnis, Madhu Ruia, Krishaa Ghanasingh, Akash Shah from Jaico who mingled over cocktails . Daughter Zara and husband Mustafa Eisa lent their silent support to Rukshana during the warm evening with many a manners faux pas being narrated by guests.
“I believe that we shouldn’t let our moods dictate our manners. Better it is indeed to have good manners than good looks. Looks fade. Manners have an enduring legacy”, said the author Rukshana Eisa.
