Rekha Rana’s magical memories with Big B

For talented actress Rekha Rana, ‘it was nothing less than a dream come true to share the screen space alongside the megastar Amitabh Bachchan’ in a television commercial for Mankind Pharma Ltd.

Also a theatre artist and winner of Miss Delhi beauty pageant, Rekha, who has been part of several notable films including Ab Hoga Dharna Unlimited and women-oriented film, Tara, the gorgeous actress recently shot an ad with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Though it was a miniscule role, Rekha still agreed to be part of the commercial as she didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity and much to her surprise she will always cherish the memory working with the legendary actor.

Expectedly, Rekha was quite nervous facing the camera and after finishing her shot, she decided to sit aide and watch the megastar perform. During the break, Big B spotted Rekha reading the novel, titled Shantaram. Interestingly, as per the reports, the legendary actor was supposed to do a film based on the novel also featuring Hollywood actor Johnny Depp.

Much to Rekha’s surprise, Mr Bachchan started the conversation with her about the book knowing that it was a bestseller and they spoke at length. Needless to say, Rekha was mesmerised talking to the superstar and couldn’t believe if it was for real. The superstar wished her all the best for her career and also congratulated her knowing the fact that she is the World Brand Ambassador of an organisation ‘Heart for India foundation’ and is known for her association with noble causes.

Heart of foundation is headed by Princess Francoise sturdza who is the princess of Romania was married to Gregory Daviud Roberts who was the author of world famous book ‘Shantaram’.
